Oh, Dave!! You just don't know!! Other than the personal impact and thrill of being at Stevie's shows, this was the BEST concert I've ever seen.
There was hurricane-like weather, and we stood at the gate for hours in the cold rain, but we stood at the stage right between Thom Yorke and Ed O'Brien.
I'm posting photos on the forum later...hope you'll enjoy them. Thanks for the video. D...xxx
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the add, 'tis nice to be wanted
Lovely page you have here; I'm still fiddling with mine. Ooh! Speaking of fiddles, great VU vid ya got there! Okay, technically a violin, but... Anyway.
I bought their first LP when I was 14 and I'm sure it (and Freak Out!, both bought in April 1967) totally changed my life. I'm sure that explains a
lot. But I hadn't seen any footage of them though so this was a treat.
Hm... now I have to remind myself to look up Nico's "Chelsea Girls" on the Tube of You...
Ooh, new to me, both song and artists, but Ireallylike
that. Thoroughly enjoying being introduced to things I haven't heard before. Great idea! Thanks for all the sharing.
Here's a quiet, reflective one from Lakeman. Suits today's mood nicely.
Sweet Dave, thank you so much! Arva is there, and seeing her makes my day! Thank you! I'm heading off to DC to see Radiohead now. Have a good Sunday...Love
you, Dovey...xxx
I hope you enjoyed the Radiohead gig (so jealous!). I can't believe the week's more than half-way through already. Here's a little video for you
for today - it's some Radiohead you've probably seen before.
Hi Dave. Not a great video (what happened to the lighting?), but the fantastic vocal on this had it pipping the post
on other contenders today. (So many to choose from!) It works for me! Hope you enjoy it. Are we going to see parts three and four of Skipping Girl
Vinegar's animation?
Ooh, Dave, you aresofab! Thankyou very much. Genie directed me to that one a couple of days ago. I actually discoveredthisversion this morning. For me, Martha does herself and
the song a little more justice here. I think there's at least one other film of these outstanding folk performing this song on You Tube, but haven't
checked the third out yet.
It has been ridiculously hard to choose any favourite Thompson tracks, but I've heard several more today - each
one equally gorgeous. Was an absolute privilege to listen toBlunderbuss.Thank you hugely for sharing it.
Skipping Girl Vinegar too! Love that stuff! You are indeed the man! Banana King, Speedo King. Music
master. I'm finally swooning!

This one's my favourite for today. It will be familiar to anyone who has seen Brokeback Mountain, but it's new to me. Just beautiful!
Think you've woken something here, fella.
